Historic Home 8 miles South of Boston

Our cozy, well loved historic home is available from February 10 to June 30, 2025. We are flexible with dates but prefer a 30 day minimum stay. Located in Milton, across from Milton Academy, we are 8 miles from downtown Boston on a secluded private road shared with two other houses. The city is a short commute by car. Public transit to Boston & Cambridge is accessible. We are also close to hiking trails in the Blue Hills and area beaches. The home was built in 1902 and has been lovingly restored. The first floor has a foyer entry, half bath, kitchen, living room and dining room. The second floor has a king sized bedroom, and a bedroom with bunk beds and a futon. The king bedroom also has a separate office space with storage and a pull out sofa. The master bedroom on the 3rd floor has been newly renovated and includes a king bed, a walk-in closet, a wall of windows, and it's own bathroom. Both the kitchen and linen closets are fully stocked. Washer and dryer are in the basement. There is a brick courtyard off the kitchen with a table/chairs and a gas grill. We have an enormous yard (on 2+ acres) with resident wild turkeys, bunnies, deer and other wildlife. The beautiful grounds have various gardens and a fenced in gunite pool that is open during the summer months (weather dependent/signed waiver required). Utilities are included. Final cleaning fee of $200 is separate (it is possible to arrange weekly or bi-weekly cleaning). Please be in touch with questions - more photos are available!
