Beautiful cottage in South France 2km from the Sea

Gerard and his family were superb hosts.If we needed anything, they responded promptly and were always willing to help and give advice. They made our stay as comfortable as possible.Their house is beautiful, fully-equipped, and in a great location with amenities. We thank Gerard and his family for their kindness to us and for allowing us to live in their beautiful home.

We stayed in Gerard's home for two months (mid january - mid march) and it worked perfectly for our needs. The home is well equipped with plenty of dishes, pots/pans and silverware. The main floor has a kitchen, living room and toilet room with the upstairs having three bedrooms and two bathrooms, one with a toilet. The enclose patio was perfect to use on sunny days as an extra eating area. The village of Loupian has a post, pharmacie, two bakeries and a few restaurants. The bigger city of Meze is just a few kilometers away that has a Carrefour City and a larger Intermarche for groceries. A larger Carrefour is located just 10 minutes away in Balaruc-le-Vieux. The Thursday and Sunday market in Meze were great. We highly recommend.

Our host, Gerard, was extremely helpful in making arrangements and answering all our questions as we made our plans for a long over-winter stay.

Sadly, at a late date, due to health reasons, we were forced to cancel our booking..Gerard, was not only understanding, but also very sympathetic.to our plight.

We are very much hoping that we will be able to make the trip to Loupian at some point in the New Year.
