A very bright apartment (33 m2) on the third floor with elevator is located on Quai de Valmy, in the 10th arrondissement. The building with its elegant marble entry hall is secured by two entry doors with a digicode, intercom and a concierge. It is conveniently located in close proximity to many metro stations and the RER (Chateau Landon, Gare du Nord, Gare de l’Est, Jaurès, Louis Blanc, ...). This gives you easy access to all of Paris, as well as to Gare du Nord with a direct connection from the airport Charles de Gaulle, when you arrive in Paris. The living room has two bay windows from ceiling to the floor and French doors overlooking directly Canal St. Martin. No trafic on this pedestrian street! The kitchen is in a spacious alcove, equipped with a fridge, sink, cooktop and spacious cupboards. The apartment has a full bathroom with a bathtub/shower, a sink and a washing machine. A total of four large closets (two in the entry and two in the living room) provide plenty of storage room for all your belongings. The apartment is very clean and was recently decorated with brand new furniture, a 1.40m wide sofa bed and another sofa bed of 1.20m, two little tables, a comfortable armchair and a dining table with four chairs. Bed linens, towels, cutlery, tableware, coffee machine, microwave oven, etc. are all provided. Canal St. Martin is a lively, fashionable, artsy and very sought after neighborhood, especially by young Parisians. Conveniently located along the Canal, you will find many cafés, restaurants and small, trendy boutiques. A big supermarket (Franprix) is just around the corner. It is located close to as well as the Hospital Saint Louis. On rue Secrétan and on Boulevard St. Martin you can find everything you need: bakeries, cheese and wine stores and a little department store (Monoprix), just to name a few. The street below the windows along the Canal was recently closed off to traffic and is now a pedestrian street. People will cycle, jog, roller blade, or just take a stroll, sit in the many sunny cafes or have picnics on the banks of the canal.
