We are renting our centrally located "nest", which is a lovely atypical, 3-floor family home with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, 2 office spaces, a versatile playroom and open style living area. On the ground floor is the living area and kitchen. In the bright basement is a large open space with skylight - presently used as playroom, a bathroom and an office / guest bedroom with window. On the top floor you find an office space on a mezzanine above the staircase, 2 bedrooms, and a second bathroom. The front yard with patio, fruit trees, vegetable and flower beds is facing south. The patio comes with table and chairs, bench, and kids picnic table. We have a shed for garden accessories, bikes, scooters, etc. Bicycle use can be discussed. The location of our little home is unique, as it is extremely conveniently located for all amenities and still quiet. Restaurants, coffee shops, bars, public library, supermarket, bakery, bus stop are just up the street. An outdoor pool, skate rink, primary school, daycare, community centre are around the corner. Several playgrounds and tennis courts close by. We are steps away from BIXI stations, perfectly connected to Montreal's bike paths, walking distance to metro station St. Henri (5 min walk), sports complex Gadbois (10 min walk), Marché Atwater (10 min walk) and Canal Lachine (1 min walk). By bike it takes about 20 mins to get downtown, the Old Port, McGill, etc. After a winter storm, you can ski in - ski out from the front door along the Canal all the way to the Old Port or to Lachine. Whether alone, as a couple or as a family, our house and neighborhood has something to offer for every taste. We are excited to again share our home with someone who will feel as home as we do and take equally care of it.
