Quiet, sunny, tree-lined street, 2 bedrooms, 1 living-room, 3 balconies.

Two friends and I stayed for three weeks in October/November, 2025, at Manuela and Julia's Lisbon apartment. From initial contact and throughout our stay, Manuela was friendly and helpful, and she shared many excellent tips about local restaurants and points of potential interest. The neighbourhood was so convenient, it had everything we needed, all within very easy walking distance. Bus connections were excellent! I was so pleased at how quiet and peaceful the neighbourhood was overnight. We enjoyed the well-equiped kitchen, and we made good use of the espresso machine! We enjoyed evenings lingering around the dining table savouring amazing local foods and wines. Manuela and Julia, thank you for a wonderful stay!

This beautiful 2 bedroom apartment is in a quiet residential neighborhood. It was perfect for a first visit to Lisbon of 2 weeks. The apartment is away from the busy, more touristed areas, which is just what I wanted, but easy to get to major sites by bus and metro. Lots of green spaces nearby.

There are some good restaurants on the street- Fishtail, Indian; Tu Lourdes, Portuguese. The outdoor seating at Campo Pequeno (a former bullfighting ring) restaurants is great for a meal or drink.

There is a nice shopping area, with small shops, off of av Roma (I wish I could remember the name) on the left past av Joao XXI. The public library, Biblioteca Palàcio Galveias, is a gem & has an outdoor cafe.

Communication with Manuela was easy & fun.

The apartment offered the perfect base for my three-week stay in Lisbon. The neighbourhood felt truly 'local' and refreshingly removed from the more touristy parts of the city, while close to transport links that made it very easy to move around the city and beyond (from living room to Sintra in less than an hour!). It is also walking distance from the wonderful Gulbenkian Museum and gardens. The apartment itself is tasteful, spacious and had everything that I needed. And my lovely hosts were always available for any questions I might have. I was really quite sad to leave.

The apartment is close to public transportation, and there are many cafes and restaurants nearby. The apartment is quiet and tastefully designed. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We had a wonderful time during our two-week stay in this charming, easy to live in apartment in a great neighborhood that had everything we needed. Two metro lines, several bus lines, and local railways took us everywhere we wanted to go. We usually started our day with coffee/tea on one of the balconies and often relaxed there or at a cafe at the end of each day. Small and large markets, nice restaurants, and interesting shops were not far from our doorstep. Manuela is a great host, friendly, very responsive and helpful. I would like to think I will return to Portugal and stay there again!

If you want to feel as though you really live in Lisbon, then stay at Manuela's lovely 5th floor apartment. Outside of the centre, but very close to public transit, and in a great neighbourhood, we absolutely loved the week we spent in her place! For a family it was ideal-- supermarket, bakery, park, etc., all within a few minutes walk. The apartment itself has space for a family to spread out a bit, and the three small balconies were wonderful for sitting outside with a cup of coffee and a book. Manuela was a gracious host, and always easy to get in touch with. Highly recommended!
