The apartment is fully furnished with rugs, dining room set, sofa, bookshelves, night stand, desk, lamps, etc. The kitchen includes stove/oven and refrigerator; plates, silverware, glasses, and more. The unit comes with towels and linen. The unit is located in Central Harlem, two blocks form the subway express red line (2 and 3) and six blocs from the green line, both local and express (4,5,6). There are also bus stops one and two blocks away (100/101); easy public bus access to Laguardia airport. 25 minutes to Union Square and 20 minutes to Penn Station. To get a sense of the neighborhood go to Google Map; make sure you enter the correct address: 36 West 127 street (cross streets: Fifth Avenue and Lenox Avenue). The unit is located on a quiet street. Those of you who are unfamiliar with Manhattan sometimes ask me the same question: is the neighborhood safe? It is a lively residential neighborhood with families that come and go at all hours of the day and evening. The area is filled with countless restaurants, cafes, bars, sport clubs, Whole Foods (home delivery), pharmacies, bodegas, wine shops, hardware stores, etc. The area is home to some of Harlem's legendary institutions: Apollo Theater, Studio Museum, Harlem Museum, etc.; Sylvia's restaurant and Red Rooster are down the street.
