Walk to restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, parks, gyms, yoga studios, rock climbing, movie theaters and clothing stores. Many people don't have a car. We go for days without using our car. We commute to San Francisco on the subway. Our kids walked themselves to school and activities from middle school onwards. There are bike paths and bike lanes, making biking a safe option for all.
