Lovely country home in the South of France

Bonjour, we are an American couple living in France for the past 15 years. Our 130 square meter home is all on one level and sits on a half acre of gardens with a beautiful 10x5 meter swimming pool. The outdoor spaces include two large terraces and large lounging area surrounding the pool. One terrace is accessed by expansive french doors from the living room and the other is accessed by french doors from the master suite which leads directly to the pool. The neighboring properties all have large outdoor spaces of at least a half acre or more providing privacy, while not feeling isolated. The house is set back from the road with an automatic gate and parking for many cars in front. It sits in the middle of the property with gardens on all sides. When you enter the house the kitchen and living room are to the right and to the left is a hallway with the dining room with antique table and six chairs, 1 bedroom with queen sized bed, a large bathroom with shower, and the office with television, comfy leather couch, computer, printer and desk as well as a treadmill for those inclined to get in a little exercise! At the end of the hallway is the large master suite with it's own bathroom with free standing tub, king sized bed and frenchdoors opening onto its terrace with loungers and views of the garden and pool. The pool is graduated depth with the deep end over 8 feet deep and shallow end having roman steps. It is surrounded by concrete decking and one end has an area large enough for 4 or more chaise loungers, side tables and 2 large umbrellas. The house is light filled with many windows. The bright kitchen is newly renovated with all new appliances including big frig/freezer with integrated icemaker, Smeg 5 burner gas stove and electric oven, microwave, and Bosch dishwasher. The kitchen was designed for those who love to cook! Cookware, utensils, small appliances of all kinds are numerous and of top quality. The kitchen opens into an expansive living room with a corner bar, large satellite tv with English channels and comfy leather furniture. The terrace off the living room is shaded by a huge Linden tree and an automatic awning. It has a pretty table and 6 chairs, a gas bbq and a charcoal bbq and 2 rocking chairs for outside entertaining and dining. The house is very light with large windows in all rooms and expansive glass doors in the living room and master suite. Central reversible heating/air conditioning throughout the house make it a very comfortable house year round. There is much to see and do in the immediate environs. The house is just outside the small village of Auriac-sur-Dropt with it's lovely restaurant and within a 5 minute drive of the touristic village of Duras with it's famous Chateau, numerous restaurants and bars, boutiques and shops, grocery store and a large weekly market. Within 20 minutes is the very pretty and buzzy village of Eymet. Bergerac is 30 minutes and Bordeaus an hour and 20 minutes. The environs are undulating green rolling hills with a mix of agriculture, vineyards, and animals. The area is famous for its raising and production of prunes, hazelnuts and foi gras. And, of course, wine! All commerces including several grocery stores, bakeries, butchers, post office, banks, etc., etc are within 5 to 10 minutes from the house. All in all, the house and it's quiet privacy, gardens and pool and the many pretty and buzzy villages and towns surrounding it, coupled with green countryside and plentiful sunshine make this a wonderful area to live and to visit.
