The fully enclosed garden includes a gazebo during spring and summer with lawn. The Cottage in Montrose, is handily located just off the High Street. You're close to locally run and owned shops - artisan bakeries, fresh fish shop, two butchers, newsagents and chemists. As well as four supermarkets (Tesco, Aldi, Lidl and Home Bargains), there are pubs cafés and award winning restaurants on your doorstep - plus the town's renowned 3 screen cinema and arts centre. The 2 mile golden sandy beach is a 15 minute walk away. And one of the world's oldest links golf courses is here too. It's a perfect place to explore the coast - with the stretching sands of St Cyrus and Lunan Bay just a cycle or short drive away. And heading inland, there are the delights of the Angus glens to explore. Further afield, there are the museum rich cities of Dundee and Aberdeen - easily reached via regular direct train and bus services from Montrose train station, which is a short walk from the house. There's are several direct train services from London also - including an overnight sleeper service. And if you're in a car, there is free on street parking and a free car park (including electric charging points) a short walk away. Carnoustie is a 20 minute train journey, with additional Scotrail services provided during the Open tournament. Montrose train station is a 7 minute walk from the house. Fresh bed linen, towels, luxury branded soap, shampoo and conditioner along with dishwasher tablets and laundry detergent are all provided. As is tea and filter coffee, super fast WiFi (with unlimited downloads), a home cinema system (with 5.1 sound) and a Bluetooth speaker in the kitchen/diner and lounge.
