Small-town charm with easy access to city/universities

Description

Our 2BR and large den (could be 3 BR) townhouse is located in Pitt Meadows with elementary school, community centre, shops, cafés, restaurants, parks, library, doctors offices, and dyke trails all within a few blocks. Being so close to all the amenities, and yet in a quiet, leafy neighborhood, takes a lot of the stress out of day-to-day living. The West Coast Express is a short walk away and it's a 40 minute trip to downtown Vancouver. The townhouse is on a single level on the second floor. The entry level is simply a front door, shoe stand, and stairs up to the main living space, which includes an open-plan living and dining area, a kitchen-extension workspace with its own small deck, and a separate office/den with French doors onto the main deck — well suited to remote work. There are two bedrooms, two bathrooms (one with a soaker tub), hardwood floors throughout, and modern, energy-efficient appliances. Kitchen finishes are somewhat dated, and the hardwood floors can be creaky. We would prefer a three- to five-month stay, starting around mid-December 2026 or early January 2027.
