3 floors in a historic brownstone building, plus washer/dryer in the basement. We're on a residential street, so it's comparatively quiet. The two best things about the house are the kitchen and the separate office space. We're enthusiastic cooks so the kitchen is very well stocked in every way and is easy for two or three people to cook in at once. The office accommodates two people working at the same time. It's large and airy with a single bed for when you need a quick nap. The main bedroom has a large walk-in closet and the top floor has a separate lounge area that's perfect for tween/teen kids. This is not a house for people with mobility issues: there are several steps to the front door and like most Brooklyn brownstones the house is vertically-oriented ie lots of stairs. It comes with the challenges of an old building, but we recently updated major plumbing and electrical and have a terrific handyman who's available on short notice. We've lived in this house for more than 25 years and raised our children here -- we love our house and would be happy to share it with you!
