Our home is an eclectically decorated yet calm and comfortable modern family house, designed to feel both lived-in and thoughtfully curated. Built in 2021, we were deeply involved in the design and build process from start to finish, and I personally handled the interior decorating, blending clean lines with warmth, texture, and character. The result is a home that feels creative and welcoming, while remaining very clean, organized, and easy to live in. The interior is light-filled and spacious, with an open, functional layout that works beautifully for families, couples, or individuals looking for a peaceful place to settle in for a longer stay. Every room is designed to feel comfortable and uncluttered, with plenty of space to relax, read, work, or gather together. The home is filled with natural light and plants, adding to the calm, lived-in feel. One of the highlights of the home is the outdoor space. The property sits on a private acre and features multiple outdoor sitting areas that make it easy to enjoy different times of day. There is a wonderful screened-in porch that’s perfect for writing, quiet mornings with coffee, or watching the sunset in the evening with a glass of wine. The backyard is especially great for families, with a zipline, trampoline, fire pit, and gas grill for outdoor meals and gatherings. Our acre connects to approximately 15–20 acres of open green space, giving the property a truly park-like feel. The home is located in a friendly, close-knit neighborhood just down the street from some of Nashville’s most popular greenways, baseball fields, as well as excellent local restaurants, unique bars, and neighborhood shops. It offers the rare combination of feeling peaceful and tucked away while still being very connected to the city — just a 10-minute drive to downtown Nashville.
