This house is located in the historic community of Greenbelt, MD, just outside of Washington DC. It has three bedrooms, one bathroom, and a very large combination living/dining room area. The kitchen has a new dishwasher, microwave, and ample cupboard space, with everything you need to move in. Washer and dryer are adjacent to the kitchen. The patio garden offers space for outdoor entertaining or quiet contemplation. With a bus stop immediately outside the house connecting to the Greenbelt Metro Station, the house offers quick access into Washington DC. The Smithsonian Museums and the Library of Congress are about 40 minutes away by Metro. A free shuttle also brings you to the University of Maryland in College Park 15 minutes away. The National Archives at College Park are also nearby. There is easy access to the I-95 to Baltimore 30 minutes away. There is also the possibility of including a car in the rental. The house is completely furnished and equipped with lots of games and piano, and is walking distance to the elementary and high schools. A 20-minute walk to historic Roosevelt Center offers restaurants, a movie theatre, the public library, a playhouse, swimming pool, gym, and tennis courts. Next to Roosevelt Center is a park with a lake for kayaking, boating, and fishing. The Community Center also offers art, dance and exercise classes. All of the upkeep for the house is included in the rent, as the house is part of the Greenbelt Homes Incorporated (https://ghi.coop/). All general repairs are handled with a quick phone call. The period of the rental is flexible. While I would strongly prefer a renter for an entire year, I am willing to consider other arrangements.
