**MORE PHOTOS TO COME** Our home is located in a fantastic city-fringe suburb that offers the very best of Melbourne. It’s the perfect blend of convenience and lifestyle: only a 10-minute train ride into the central city, and a 10-minute tram ride to beautiful beaches, bayside walking paths and coastal playgrounds. It’s an ideal location for anyone wanting easy access to both culture and coastline. We are looking to rent or swap our home between January and March (or April) while we are in Europe. For a swap, we’re open to any location in Italy with reasonably easy access to an airport. The house is fully furnished with new designer furniture and has been recently renovated with comfort and relaxed modern style in mind. Inside the home, you’ll find: A spacious entertainer’s kitchen with a full butler’s pantry, two ovens, an air fryer, coffee machine, smoothie blender, microwave and every appliance a home cook could want. Three large bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms including a bathtub, and a separate study ideal for working or reading. Two living spaces, giving families room to spread out. Family-friendly amenities, including a trampoline, LEGO, craft supplies, children’s books and toys. A small swimming pool, perfect for warm summer afternoons. This period — January through March/April — is the most beautiful time of year to be in Melbourne. Expect warm weather, long balmy evenings, outdoor cinemas, festivals, beach days, markets and an abundance of family-friendly activities run by local councils. We’re also a short walk from a vibrant high street with fantastic cafés, bakeries, restaurants, supermarkets, a library, parks, boutique shops, chemists and everything you might need. Public transport is very close, making it easy to explore the whole city without a car. For swaps: We have a gentle, child-friendly and very independent cat who is used to the house. Ideally, we would love for him to stay on the property during the swap if possible. For rentals: We’re also happy for him to stay, and can offer a reduced rate if you’re comfortable having him there. He requires minimal care and is extremely low maintenance. We’re more than happy to help families integrate while here — if you'd like your children to meet local kids, we can introduce you to families we know so your little ones can settle in and feel connected.
