It’s within walking distance to Catania’s Corso Italia (Econ Department), easy biking/bus access to the historic city center (Law School and Humanities), and a short drive to the University campus (La Cittadella). We live in this apartment when in Italy, so it’s furnished and arranged with care, reflecting our taste for comfort, quality, and a welcoming atmosphere. Neighborhood & Amenities: Set on Catania’s scenic lava rock coastline, the apartment is located in a vibrant yet peaceful neighborhood. The building where the apartment is located has an ATM (Unicredit Bank) and a Pharmacy. Everything you might need is within a 5-minute walk, including: – A well-stocked supermarket – A local fish market – The best café in town – Ernesto – A newsstand, and – A playground by the sea, perfect for families. Local restaurants, shops, and public transportation are all close by, and the location offers excellent access to Mount Etna, Taormina, Syracuse, and other Eastern Sicilian destinations. You can easily hop on the train to Messina/Syracuse from the Picanello train stop located 10 minutes walk from the apartment.
