Description
Our renovated 1970s home is filled with art and books, and backs onto Tamborine Mountain National Park. It is in a peaceful setting and an excellent place to write. However, coffee is walking distance away at local cafes on Gallery Walk. Also rainforest walks are close by as well. The Tamborine Mountain location has been sought after by academics, writers and artists for many years. Our home was renovated in 2020 and has tiles and polished floorboards throughout. It has three bedrooms. The main bedroom with comfortable queen size bed is ensuite while the second bedroom has a comfortable double bed. The third bedroom is arranged as a study/office but has an easily assembled single bed. There is also an additional smaller study/office. The house has sustainable PV electricity and hot water which is backed by grid based electricity. Water supply is via a a 32,000 litre rainwater tank. Tamborine Mountain is commuting distance to Griffith University (Gold Coast) (35mins) or Bond University (45 mins) and an hour's drive from Brisbane.

The peaceful and beautiful location of our mountain home near Tamborine National Park provides convenient 5-7 minutes walking access access to Gallery Walk cafes, cellar door and specialty shops. While daily needs requirements are at the Eagle Heights shopping village and a supermarket is at North Tamborine. The location also allows easy access to Griffith Uni - Gold Coast campus 35 mins drive and Bond Uni 45 mins drive.
