Furnished studio apartment close to Metro & shops, with easy access to DC

We travel frequently and would be delighted to have someone enjoy our home and neighborhood, whether we are in residence or away. Our apartment sits on the lower level with a large picture window looking out to a secluded patio. In good weather, the patio is inviting for outdoor coffee or reading. Entrance to the apartment is through the patio/garden. The space is primarily one large room with natural light, a furnished kitchen, sleeping space, dining/work table, and a generous armchair for reading. There are bookcases plus room to park a bicycle. Adjoining space has storage and laundry facilities (both shared) and a bathroom (private for the tenant). We are seeking a tenant who is quiet and independent. Access to Washington DC via Metro is a short distance away. Union Station (Amtrak) is a few Metro stops from us. Washington's burgeoning restaurant scene is easily accessed via Metro. Kennedy Center, Smithsonian Museums, the National Gallery, the Folger Shakepeare Library and Theater, the Shakespeare Theater, the Phillips Collection, and many other arts, theater and music venues are accessible.
