This quiet, leafy neighborhood with towering trees is only 1 mile from downtown Bethesda and the NIH campus. Nearby, the C&O Canal and tow path (NPS) make walking and biking along the Potomac River a treat. It's a 10 minute bus ride to the Bethesda Metro (Red Line) station where trains run every few minutes into downtown DC. A privacy fence encloses the lush back garden, so enjoy sitting on the deck and having folks over for a dinner grilled on our gas grill. Many of the plants are native pollinators, so take in the sight of birds, bees, butterflies as they feast on nectar. This fully furnished, newly renovated apartment has a large bedroom, an attractive living room with a desk for working, a full bath, a fully equipped kitchen, and a W/D for laundry. TV, WI-FI and Netflix and Prime streaming services included. Two large closets. Private Entrance. There is parking for multiple cars in driveway. Fee: $500 a week. Comments: We often travel to Cambridge, MA to visit family, and would love to arrange a house swap with someone who needs/wants to spend time in DC. Very flexible dates. We also have a lovely small house near Asheville, NC to rent or swap.
