Looking for a 3 month exchange to any university town in the South of UK

In December 2026 we desire a long exchange to any university town in the south of England, preferably around Hampshire. However we are flexible, and happy to consider other places in the south of England. Alan, 75 years, retired electronics engineer, interested in cycling, flying, music, computers, food & wine. Pam, 68 years, retired librarian and office administrator, interested in travel, skiing, bushwalking, cycling, folk music, food & wine, learning languages, travel photography, reading and dancing. We are retired and our aim to use your location as a base for travel over the UK and Europe. We love to spend time in a place and get to know the people and culture. Pam loves to photograph the tourist sights but we also both love to walk and catch public transport all around a city to get the feel of the place. We had a 2+ year exchange to the south of France in 2017 and it was very successful. We are still friends with many of the neighbours and people we met there. Pam went back to visit them in 2018. Also, we have family and friends in the UK, so look forward to making more friends in a friendly neighbourhood.
