Sunny, furnished 3BR townhouse on UCSC campus, 10 min drive to beach

I am faculty at UCSC and I will be away this spring/summer but we are now just looking for some short term folks for part of August 2026. Looking for subletters for the townhouse I own within employee housing on UCSC campus: fully furnished 3 BR/2.5 BA with washer/dryer in unit and backyard. The complex has its own playground, is a 10 minute drive to the beach, and a 15 minute walk to a park with a lake. You can get to numerous hikes/walking trails on foot as well. The bus stop for campus is a 5 minute walk from our door and you'll have two parking spaces if you need them. The complex is quiet, safe, and well-maintained. This townhouse has been recently renovated and we just moved in last year. Some clutch amenities we have: 65" Smart TV, full digital piano, bidets in the upstairs bathrooms, chest freezer, Casper mattress (Queen) and blackout curtains, and a hybrid bike to use while you're here. The futon in the 2nd bedroom folds out into a Queen-sized bed (rare) and we have a memory foam topper for it. The kitchen is well-equipped: dishwasher, rice cooker, Instant Pot, slow cooker, CuisineArt food processor, immersion blender, KitchenAid stand mixer, Le Creuset dutch oven, etc. We might still have some gear for young children if needed. Pets are generally ok; let's chat about it. There is a garage for your usage and a lot of closet space on both floors. Do not hesitate to reach out if you have further questions. Willing to do an exchange for a dog-friendly place in NYC for the same length of time. Priority will be given to those who whose dates most closely align with ours. One month deposit.
