Our large, four-storey semi-attached house (built in 1929) is located in the central, yet quiet and green garden city 'Fliegersiedlung' from the 1920s. It is fully furnished and decorated with a tasteful mix of modern and antique furniture, as well as charming original features dating back to the 1920s. The house comprises a large kitchen, a spacious living room, two offices, a music room with a grand piano, three bedrooms (one of which includes a loft area with a double bed under the roof), two bathrooms and a guest toilet, and a beautiful, sunny “sunken” garden with fruit trees and flowers (west-facing), which we designed in 2016. A family home since the 1950s, the house has been refurbished with great care and attention to historical detail, and we therefore prefer tenants who will appreciate and take very good care of it. Although located in a quiet area, the house is very central and conveniently situated in Neu-Tempelhof, a 15 min walk to S-Bahnhof Südkreuz, a major Deutsche Bahn station with direct connections to BER Airport (15 mins), Frankfurt, Munich, Leipzig, Paris, etc., S-Bahnhof Tempelhof, U-Bahnhof (Line 6) Paradestr. and Platz der Luftbrücke, and several bus lines, one direct to Alexanderplatz. It is within walking distance of grocery stores, the urban centres of Kreuzberg, with its shops and cafés (especially the lively Bergmannstraße and Viktoriapark), Schöneberg, and the new 'Tempelhofer Feld' park on the former Tempelhof airport grounds. Public transport connections are excellent: Potsdamer Platz can be reached in about 20 minutes, BER Airport and Humboldt University and Freie Universität in approximately 30 minutes door to door. For security reasons (pond; numerous stairs inside and outside with no gates), we do not offer the house to families with small children.
